People who retired by the end of last year will see their pensions increased.

According to regulations issued by the city government, the basic monthly pension for each urban retiree will increase 90 yuan (US$13.18), and each can get 1 yuan more a month for every full work year completed. About 3.29 million citizens will benefit from the pension increase.
