Police detained a man from Africa for 15 days for using and possessing drugs, the Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration Bureau said yesterday.

The man worked with his brother in Zhejiang Province, trading in small commodities. They often came to Shanghai at weekends or during holidays. Police caught the man using cocaine at a bar on Huaihai Road M. He was found carrying 1 gram of cocaine, police said.
