The "Sunny Valleys," harnessing solar power, light up at the site of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo over the weekend in the Pudong New Area. Some pavilions, including China's, have begun testing lighting systems. Construction of all facilities is scheduled to be completed at the end of this year. The site will have its trial opening on April 1, a month ahead of the Expo kick-off.
