Shanghai Rush, premiering this May 3 on ICS

After months of intense preparation and audition,the 12-episode reality show "Shanghai Rush" will meet the audience on May 3rd, the one-year countdown of 2010 Shanghai World Expo. It will air for 12 weeks every Sunday on prime time from 8:00pm-9:00pm on ICS TV Channel.

The 12-part show - which will showcase a different district of Shanghai every episode-has been written as the ultimate tour of a city that millions of Chinese and foreigners call home. One year ahead of the 2010 Expo, the world is set to turn its full attention to Shanghai.And Shanghai Rush plans to make everyone sit up and take notice of this cutting-edge city.

Episode 1: Pudong Station    (May.3   20:00pm on ICS)

Hilton’s lobby has never been as bustling as it was this morning. All the contestants are excited and well-prepared for the challenge, and just waiting for the director to start their Shanghai Rush odyssey. The first task is to take the subway from JingAn Temple and get to the city’s landmark, the Oriental Pearl Tower, in LuJiaZui. To figure out the complicated subway routes, asking the local people about stations, exits, and roads with their newly acquired Mandarin. It seemed to be the very first test of the contestants’ adaptability, and they were all eager to find the next clue in the History Museum.
The moment the contestants arrived at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, they faced a double trial of both skill and luck – competing with a robot in archery! Guest Yuan Ming will also try to hit the target. Which couple will shine in this round? Rushing from the CEIBS Lujiazui Finance Research Center, swarming with young financiers-in-training, the contestants toured the luxuriant landscape of Century Park. Not a single potential chance is ignored in the search for the destination.  All they had was a clue from the previous round, and the contestants must find the answer in this episode, which is of course, unexpected!
