Volunteer's Blog -- Sad Farewell

It is time for saying goodbye. No one likes farewell to others, but as an old saying:"all good things must come to an end". We purposely conceal the fact that we will leave, but we don't know why children realized it. Then, at lunch, students from all grades give us their precious local products - angelica, which just digged from soil.

We hold our tears and hardly say anything when see more and more angelicas. There was an class meeting in the afternoon, since we would leaving, we sent our candy, pencils, books to lovely children. Near the time of saying goodbye, we began to find what we left are limited.

Time flies, the bus has stopped at the gate. We quietly left their precious angelicas in the classroom but all students stands by in the other side of road when we returned to the bus. We were even ashamed of ourselves, why could we receive such courtesy as we give them little?

We gave our warmly embrace to one and another in case of missing anyone. Although we did not want tears before children, we can not hold it. We swear that the next year we will come back and ask them study hard.

Despite many televisions report the remoted area, it is still far from us until we see there by our own eyes. Only when we get here, we know how pure they are and how strive they go up.
