Activities: October 13–In the evening attended the welcome banquet at Dadong Hotel (the present Wing on Department Store on West Nanjing Road) organized by 6 organizations including Jiangsu Education Society and delivered a speech on China Should Preserve its Quintessence of Chinese Culture.
October 14–In the afternoon delivered a speech on Principles of Social Reconstruction at China School in Wusong.
October 15–In the morning accepted the exclusive interview by Shanghai Newspaper and paid a visit to Shanghai Newspaper Office (the present 309 Hankou Road, the site of Jiefang Daily Group).
October 16–In the afternoon invited to deliver a speech on Functions of Education at Jiangsu Education Society at 348 Fangxie Road.
