TAKEDA Promote medical exchanges between China and Japan

At present, Takeda has nearly 1,500 employees in China, who are working hard in production, sales, marketing and clinical research of new products.

Since 1980, the Takeda Science Foundation has funded for 38 consecutive years more than 260 Chinese doctors to Japan for further study. In 1981, by working with the Chinese Medical Association (CMA), it formally carried out this project in China. The CMA selects outstanding Chinese doctors for training and then sends them to Japan’s top medical research institutions for exchange. This project not only provides a good platform for the communication between Chinese and Japanese doctors, but also builds the friendship between doctorsin two countries and promotesthe exchange of medical sciences.
