Rooted in China for 25 years, AstraZeneca has always adhered to the principle of “keeping a foothold in Shanghai, in China and for China.”In Shanghai, AstraZeneca assisted the HealthCommissionto promote the construction of the pediatric nebulization center, which was officially launched in June 2018 and is intended to cover the whole city.So far the company has helped to set up 31 nebulization centers.Thecenteris designed to in a one-stop manner treatthe children suffering from respiratory diseases, and more than 350 have been built along the Belt and Road,a great bless for people with respiratory diseases from various countries and regions. The standard National Metabolic Management Center (MMC) supported by AstraZeneca hasbeen put into use in sevenhospitals such as Ruijin Hospital, managing over 5,000 patients, who are provided with one-stop services. It is also planned to introduce the MMC to the countries along the Belt and Road.Meanwhile, according to the company, there have been 107 hospitals in Shanghai establishing theChina Chest Pain Center (CPC) supported by AstraZenecaby September, 16 of whichhave been certified, 18 under certification, making Shanghai the only city in China to practice the collective certification of CPC.
