L’Oréal Sharing beauty with all

2018-10-17 14:46:55

L’Oréal, one of the world’s largest cosmetics groups, came to China in 1997 in the context of China’s reform and opening-up to foreign investment, and awakened numerous Chinese people’s desire for beauty.

L’Oréal China is headquartered in Shanghai with five offices across the country. So far, L’Oréal China owns 22 brands, a research and innovation center, a training center, two factories in Suzhou and Yichang, and five distribution centers, with a total of more than 8,700 employees. After 21 years of high-quality, steady and sustainable growth, L’Oréal China’s market has become the second largest of L’Oréal Group’s global markets, and the company plays a leading role in China’s cosmetics industry. Also, L’Oréal China has been listed by Universum’s “China’s Most Attractive Employers” for years. As one of the best corporate citizens in China, L’Oréal China has always been committed to “sharing beauty with all — sustainable development commitment 2020.”

L’Oréal always keeps in step with China’s reform and opening up. In January, a delegation from the Ministry of Commerce of China visited the headquarters of L’Oréal Group in Paris and invited L’Oréal to participate in the first China International Import Expo. Jean-Paul Agon, chairman and CEO of the group, immediately wrote to Zhong Shan, China’s Minister of Commerce, expressing his intention to participate in the exposition. L’Oréal will present the group’s innovative R&D technologies, new retail operations and sustainable development approaches in the exposition. More than 500 imported products from 21 brands of L’Oréal will be displayed, including a number of new products that will make their debut in China and Asia. L’Oréal will also exhibit its leading high-tech AR beauty tools and industrial 4.0 smart manufacturing beauty robot named "RRobotic." In the name of beauty, L’Oréal hopes to take the opportunity of the import expo to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening up and contribute to the “better life” of the Chinese people.
