VAILLANT GROUP The other ‘white rabbit’ in Shanghai people’s memory

Vaillant is the world’s leading manufacturer of heating, hot water, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, has eight international brands and more than 30 million customers in more than60 countries.

In the 1980s, the Vaillant gas water heater labeled with the image of “white rabbit” crossed the European continent and arrived in Shanghai. As one of the earliest “foreign brands” of household appliances, this “white rabbit” brought warmth and comfort to Shanghai residents.

In 1995, Vaillant officially entered the Chinese market and brought with it the idea of homeheating. On August 6, 2015, Vaillant Group officially announced that it would establish Vaillant (China) Heating,CoolingandEnvironmental Technology Co Ltd to move all the functional headquarters and the core business units in China to Shanghai.

Vaillant has gradually introduced products in the Chinese market, including wall-hung boilers, commercial boilers, water heaters, air conditioners, ventilation system, water treatment series, air purifiers and other products using renewable energy, to meet the various needs of Chinese consumers for a healthy and comfortable life. In 2017, Vaillant sold the millionth wall-hung gas boiler in China.

In Wuxi, JiangsuProvince, a city adjacent to Shanghai, Vaillant also invested to build a factory. China has become the production and marketing center of Vaillant Group in the Asia-Pacific region, and the focus of global production and R&D network. Many Chinese families have thus been able to experience the world’s most advanced technology.
