It established its Display MaterialsResearch and Development Lab in Shanghai in 2016, strengthening its commitment to offering quality solutionsto liquid crystal.In 2017, the company opened the BioReliance® End-to-End Biodevelopment Centerin Shanghai, which is also its first in the Asia Pacific. The center provides a full range of process development capabilities and services for biopharmaceuticals companies.Merck opened its new OLED Technology Center China in Shanghai’s Pilot Free Trade Zone on June 20 this year. On the same day, the company announced a new CRISPR core partnership with Tongji University in Shanghai. Merck provided Tongji University with CRISPR workflow solutions from assay design and bioinformatics to manufacturing, validation and application testing to further develop the field of genome editing.
