3M Bringing diversity and innovation into Shanghai

3M, as a leading diversified technology innovation company in the world, has developed nearly 70,000 products in the past century, ranging from household goods to medical products, covering areas such as transportation, construction, commerce, education, electronics and communications.

The reform and opening-up made China open its door to theworld, and 3M was licensed to carry out business in China in November 1984. 3M China Limited, which was registered in Shanghai, is the city’s first foreign-invested enterprise.
