From:社科报2021-5-22 13:12

Li Chunling and Guo Yaping wrote in the second issue of sociology research in 2021 that in elite universities, family background has little influence and selective elimination effect is prominent; In ordinary universities, family background plays an important role, and cultural reproduction mechanism plays an important role, but individual effort is also important; In higher vocational colleges, the role of cultural reproduction mechanism and the rule of competence is not prominent. The popularization of higher education leads to the differentiation of universities. The competition fields and rules of different types of universities are greatly different. The mechanism of cultural reproduction and the hypothesis of selective elimination leave traces in the competition of university campuses, but they play different roles in different types of universities.
