Will We be Safer?

From:社科报2022-2-3 13:27

Li Bin and Shi Guangwei wrote in the first issue of 2022 in the Journal of Dialectics of Nature that security is the system design and technical realization of human beings to maintain self-independence, integrity and autonomy in the nature and human society, and it is a defensive posture for human individuals’ self-protection. After realization of natural security, security mainly depends on the two-way trust between people, or the one-way trust between people, institutions and technology. From natural security, acquaintance security, institutional security to technical security, technology plays an increasingly important role in the construction of individual human security. While technology, as an artificial construct with security attributes, becomes a vital support for individual human safety, it has also become the most active factor that challenges individual human security due to factors such as interest concerns, integral characteristics of knowledge and technological autonomy. In the new wave of scientific and technological revolution, it is necessary to grasp the autonomy and intentionality of technology and go deep into the logical structure of technology so as to find new ideas for the unity of safety and technology.
