From December 12th to 13th, the 3rd Connecting the World and the Future International Symposium——New Crown Epidemic and the Rebuilding of Trust and Cooperation of the International Community,jointly hosted by Shanghai International Studies University and Shanghai Academy of Global Governance & Area Studies was held at Shanghai International Studies University and online.
Nearly 200 experts and scholars from home and abroad focused on "Great Power Game and New International Order: Beyond the Dual Structure of Competition and Cooperation", "Global/Regional Governance Transformation and New International Order: Reconstruction of the Path of Good Governance", "New Global Dialogues were launched on four topics, including “Civilization and the New International Order: International Economic Cooperation under the New Crown Epidemic”, “Civilization Mutual Learning and New International Order: Self-realization to Avoid Civilization Conflicts”. Jiang Feng, secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai International Studies University, emphasized that in the face of the unpredictable international environment and endless crises and challenges, the importance of regional country studies has become more prominent. He called for enhancing mutual understanding among diverse cultures, connecting with the world with an open attitude, and building a better future together.
