Award ceremony of 2021 Fudan Management Award Foundation held in Shanghai

On November 26, the award ceremony of the 2021 Fudan Forum of Management and Fudan University Management Award Foundation was held in Shanghai. Xu Qingrui, an academician with the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at the School of Management at Zhejiang University, won this year's lifetime achievement award; Li Yijun, a professor in economics and management at the Harbin Institute of Technology in Heilongjiang province, received the Fudan prize for eminent contributions to management science for his achievements in management system construction. This award was shared with Zeng Dajun, a researcher at the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhang Wei, a professor from Tianjin University. Cao Dewang, founder of Fuyao Glass Industry Group based in Fujian province, won the prize for Eminent Contributions to Business Management.

Management science and engineering is one of the earliest disciplines developed in China's management system. In recent years, new theories and methods have emerged in the field of management science and engineering research in China. In the academic forum, held in the afternoon of the same day, the representatives from several universities discussed how to strengthen talent cultivation and further strengthen the discipline to meet the practical needs surrounding the theme of “ discipline construction and scientific research development of management science and engineering”.
