SUFE Released Annual Report on Analysis and Forecast of China's Macroeconomic Situation (2021-2022) in Shanghai

On December 17, the press conference for release of the Annual Report on Analysis and Forecast of China's Macroeconomic Situation (2021-2022) was held at the Institute for Advanced Research of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in Shanghai in both online and offline forms. The theme of this meeting is "pursuing progress while maintaining stability and promoting high-quality development with greater efforts in reform and opening up".

On behalf of the project group, Professor Huang Xiaodong made a detailed interpretation of the report. Considering the overall recovery of China's economy, the project group expects the annual GDP growth rate to be 8.0%.

The project group also carried out a systematic study on education development and environment for the first time, and pointed out that we should improve income inequality by promoting education equity, improving income intergenerational flow, increasing the income proportion of labor force in the initial distribution and improving the redistribution tax system.
