Continuously enhancing the leading role of Marxist outlook on journalism in Journalism Education

Amid the celebration of the centennial of the founding of the party and learning and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the "Learn, Think, Practice and Realize, and Embrace the Future - the 20th anniversary of the joint establishment of the School of Journalism by the Publicity Department of Shanghai municipal Party committee and the Fudan University — the second National Forum on Marxist Journalism" was held in Fudan University on December 18.　

The participants of the forum agreed that Fudan University shall take the in-depth study and implementation of the general secretary's important exposition on news and public opinion as the primary starting point for adhering to the correct direction of news education in the new era, takes the nurturing of top of the class professionals loyal to the party's journalism and harboring great talent and great responsibility as the fundamental task of journalism education, take the advancing of the education of Marxist outlook on journalism through integration of theory with practice while keeping pace with the times as the top priority for schools co-built by government organs and schools, while constantly deepening the leading role of Marxist outlook on journalism in journalism education.
