School of Marxism of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences Inaugurated in Shanghai

On November 27, the seminar of studying the spirit and theories of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the opening ceremony of School of Marxism of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences were held in Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. The seminar and the ceremony were sponsored by Shanghai Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, organized by the School of Marxism of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. The topic of the seminar is "a New Leap forward in Sinicization of Marxism", which aims to study and interpret core principles, spiritual essence and significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

Xu Jiong (deputy director of Publicity Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee), Min Hui (deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Education and Health Working Committee, deputy director of Shanghai Education Commission) and Quan Heng (secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences) attended the opening ceremony and made speeches. Experts and scholars discussed and exchanged views on "a new leap forward in Sinicization of Marxism" at the meeting.
