On April 3, Shanghai International Studies University hosted an academic seminar entitled "Digital Economy and Common Prosperity -- Opportunities of the Times and Practical Responses to Achieve High-quality Development in the New Stage".
At the meeting, Ma Yongjun, professor of School of Marxism, Fudan University, held that institutional development should be strengthened and management and service should be improved in digital transformation and digital governance, so as to achieve maximized value and best effect in the implementation of digital economy. Professor Su Jiming of East China Normal University indicated that the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy had accelerated reconstruction of the mode of economic development and governance, and meanwhile had reduced or eliminated the regional gap of traditional social resource allocation, re-enabled the combination of different elements, and brought universal benefits in particular. The development of digital economy is helpful to digital transformation of traditional agriculture through information and communication technology and improvement of the quality and efficiency of rural economy.
