On April 26, China's Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecast for Q1 2022 with the theme of "China's economic development under protracted pandemic and triple pressure" was released by the research group of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
The research group points out that seen from the macroeconomic situation in the first quarter, the triple pressure, including insufficient domestic demand, intensified impact on the supply side and the weakened economic growth outlook, is ongoing with an increasing tendency. At the same time, a series of new situations and changes have taken place due to the pandemic spread in many areas. According to the report, in current special circumstances, it is particularly important to provide good services for businesses and for people's livelihood. We shall firmly remain industry chains, supply chains and capital chains steady, ensure smooth logistics & freight channels and facilitate platform-based enterprises to play a role in solving "the last kilometer" and the "final one hundred meters". We shall step up financial support for industries, enterprises and people affected by the pandemic.
