Labor Creates Better Life

The 7th National Marxism Forum on Labor-Based Human Rights --"Labor Felicity, Social Living Conditions, and Creating a Better Life" was held in Shanghai on April 23. It was sponsored by the Institute of Knowledge & Value Sciences of Shanghai Normal University.

Experts and scholars agree that in the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, labor education must be strengthened, and the awareness that labor is the most glorious, the most noble, the greatest and the most beautiful must be firmly established in the minds of all people. Professor He Yunfeng of Shanghai Normal University believes that in reality, there are always the people who have the ability to work but are lack of enthusiasm for work or are lack of motivation for self-development. Li Shi, professor at Renmin University of China, remarks that in the Internet age, digitalization is becoming a new kind of capital. We will control digital capital reasonably through appropriate policy design and based on state power so that we can achieve shared digital resources with all people. This is the only way to realize "shared benefits of development".
