Building New Pattern of Development Supported by Modern Industrial System

The Blue Book of Industrialization: Report on China's Industrialization (2021) has been jointly released by the Institute of Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the School of Economics & Management of Beijing Forestry University and the Social Sciences Academic Press.

The blue book expounds how to understand the connotation of China's industrialization in the new development stage, and on this basis, reexamines the evaluation system of industrialization depicted in the first blue book of industrialization in combination with the standard of "industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization". The blue book points out that industrialization is the key factor and core driving force in the rise of strong countries. During the 14th Five-year Plan period, in order to build a new development pattern supported by modern industrial system, we shall avoid premature deindustrialization, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, improve the stability and safety of industrial chain and supply chain, and achieve high-quality development of China's manufacturing.
