Report on the Development of China Social Security System (2022) Released

On July 3, Capital Normal University, the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Social Sciences Academic Press jointly released the Green Book of China Social Security System: Report on the Development of China Social Security System (2022).

With the theme of health care and medical insurance in COVID-19 prevention and control, the report has a comprehensive analysis on China’s reform and development of medical and health care and medical insurance based on the current situation of COVID-19 worldwide, covering the construction of public health service system, community-level medical and health service system and medical insurance system. The report suggests we focus on the improvement of the capability of responding to public health emergencies, deepen the reform of public health service system; place emphasis on the improvement of policies and mechanisms, deepen the reform of medical security system; explore the health service and medical security management system that suits China’s national conditions.
