The 6th YICMG Opens at Fudan University

The final round of the 6th Youth Innovation Competition on Lancang-Mekong Region’s Governance and Development (YICMG 2022) was held at Fudan University on Aug 15. Based on the "Lancang-Mekong Youth Online" platform, young people from the six countries along the Lancang-Mekong River gathered online to share the wisdom of innovation and entrepreneurship and endeavor to make a new chapter in the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation.

The YICMG 2022 focuses on the theme of "public health and medical care". After evaluation of the judges from various countries, 18 teams from eight universities were picked and run in the final. Based around the governance and development of the Lancang-Mekong River and keeping in line with the vision of building a public health community, the finalists offered innovative proposals covering network technology, industrial design and public policy research, with not only regional characteristics and specialization, but also close teamwork and passions for creativity.
