The "China (Shenzhen) Industry Development Summit Forum" was held in Shenzhen on August 27. It was hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and organized by Antai College of Economics & Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shenzhen Institute of Industry Research under Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Scholars and experts from Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and alumni representatives of Shanghai Jiao Tong University gathered together to discuss the current status of China's industrial economy and the future development trend of China's industries, and have in-depth exchanges on how to deepen cooperation in the field of industry research and promote the development of China's industries. At the forum, Shenzhen Institute of Industry Research under Shanghai Jiao Tong University was officially inaugurated.
Chen Fangruo, dean of Antai College of Economics & Management and president of Shenzhen Institute of Industry Research, pointed out in his speech that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was one of the regions with the highest degree of openness and the strongest economic vitality in China; driven by major national development strategies, this region was increasingly becoming an important base for industry-university-research collaborative innovation.
