A "forum on high-quality development of cultural and creative Industries and the integration of education with industries" was held online on October 22 by the School of Cultural and Creative Industries, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. The forum was under two themes:"strengthening cultural confidence, achieving cultural self-reliance", and "pursuing high-quality development of culture, creating new brilliance of socialist culture".
Liu Haiying, director of the Cultural Development and Reform Office of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, gave an authoritative interpretation on the working ideas and measures for how to promote the high-quality development of Shanghai's cultural and creative industries based on the general principle and new requirements of the 20thCPC National Congress report. Attendees had discussions from five perspectives:"high quality first requires standing on eminence","high quality puts emphasis on high level","high quality needs high ideological level of industries","high quality means high pursuit" and "high quality also requires high concentration of industries".
