Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Holds the 105th Anniversary Summit Forum

On November 12, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) held the "New Financial and Economic Strategy and Chinese Modernization -- the 2022 SUFE Summit Forum". Top experts and scholars from the financial and economic circles, alumni executives of financial institutions and scholars of SUFE were invited to give speeches and exchange ideas at the forum.

Based on the judgment of the 20thCPC National Congress Report on the situation of China and the world, in combination with the challenges of economic downturn and geopolitical conflicts that the world economy is facing, Professor Liu Yuanchun, President of SUFE, put forward in his keynote speech several core issues in China's development. According to him, the next five years will be crucial for getting our efforts to build a modern socialist country in all respects off to a good start; it is not only a difficult period for the world, but also an opportunity for China to make a strategic breakthrough.
