China FDI inflow rises 6.4 pct in 2015

  BEIJING, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Chinese mainland rose 6.4 percent year on year to 126.27 billion U.S. dollars in 2015, the Ministry of Commerce said Thursday.

  Foreign investment in the service industry rose 17.3 percent, accounting for 61.1 percent of the total flow for the period.

  Commerce ministry: Increase in FDI, ODI puts economy on target

  BEIJING, Dec. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Both foreign direct investment in China and outbound direct investment have risen this year, putting the nation on track to meet its annual growth target, the minister of commerce said on Sunday. FDI is expected to reach $135 billion this year, up almost 13 percent year-on-year, while ODI is forecast to hit $128 billion, up 24 percent year-on-year.

  BEIJING, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Chinese mainland rose 1.9 percent year on year to 64.9 billion yuan (10.4 billion U.S. dollars) in November, the Ministry of Commerce said Friday.

  China's financial industry receives less FDI in Q3

  BEIJING, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- China's financial institutions received 15.05 billion yuan (2.36 billion U.S. dollars) in net foreign direct investment (FDI) in the third quarter this year, the country's foreign exchange regulator said on Wednesday.

  The figure is lower than the 25.33 billion yuan in net FDI received in the second quarter, according to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE).? Full story
