LME base metals increase on Thursday

  LONDON, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The base metals prices on the LondonMetal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Thursday.

  The three-month unofficial copper price increased 35 U.S.dollars, or 0.80 percent, to 4,402.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

  The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 28.5 U.S.dollars, or 1.96 percent, to 1,483 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  The three-month unofficial lead price increased 11 U.S. dollars,or 0.68 percent, to 1,631 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 24.5U.S. dollars, or 1.65 percent, to 1,510 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 342.5 U.S.dollars, or 4.17 percent, to 8,562.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  The three-month unofficial tin price increased 60 U.S. dollars,or 0.45 percent, to 13,310 U.S. dollars a tonne. Enditem
