LME base metals prices mostly increase on Monday

  LONDON, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Monday.

  The three-month unofficial copper price increased 13.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.31 percent, to 4,377.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

  The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 9.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.64 percent, to 1,489 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  The three-month unofficial lead price lost 2.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.16 percent, to 1,609 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 9 U.S. dollars, or 0.61 percent, to 1,495 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 125 U.S. dollars, or 1.48 percent, to 8,587.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

  The three-month unofficial tin price increased 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.38 percent, to 13,275 U.S. dollars a tonne.
