CROWDS of jobseekers converged on Shanghai Talent Tower in Zhabei District yesterday in the hope of landing one of the many positions up for grabs at the Shanghai Disney Resort, which is set to open next year.

　　The company said it is looking for people to fill a wide variety of jobs in fields as diverse as operating and maintaining rides, to catering, security and retail.

　　While it set no educational requirements for the applicants and said it will offer training to all those selected, all of the people taking part in yesterday’s event were required to introduce themselves in English.

　　“We are seeking to attract people from Shanghai and across China who are interested in working in the tourism and service industries,” a company representative said.

　　The recruitment drive ends on Saturday.
