Malaysia reports 47 new A/H1N1 flu cases, total nears 300

The Malaysian Health Ministry said on Friday that the country detected 47 new cases of A/H1N1 flu, advancing the total cases in Malaysia to 291.
Malaysian Health Ministry Director-General Mohd Ismail Merican said that among the new cases of the flu, 41 were imported ones and six were locally transmitted.
The total number of locally transmitted cases has risen to 44 in the country, he said.
Ismail said that no death has so far been reported due to the disease in Malaysia, while 175 patients have fully recovered and discharged from hospitals, and another 116 still were in stable treatment without any complication.
