After months of intense preparation and audition,the 12-episode reality show "Shanghai Rush" will start shooting on Mar.12 in Shanghai.

Presented only on ICS,Shanghai Rush aims to demonstrate the 2010 Shanghai World Expo's theme "better city, better life" and increase the media power of ICS by designing a series of scenarios in the reality show that will help Expats grow a deeper attachment to the metropolis and thus introduce Shanghai to the rest of the world.
At the beginning of February, Shanghai Rush began recruiting contestants. It is the first program in Shanghai starring mainly foreigners. It attracted applicants from countries and regions including the U.S., Cananda, Mexico, Australia, France,Germany, Italy, Britain, Nigeria, and Hong Kong. After strict auditions, ten teams with 20 contestants will participate in the show.Brian Yang will be the host of Shanghai Rush. Brian Yang studied acting at the University of Berkeley. He is fluent in Mandrain and speaks converstional French. Throughout university he took the theatrical lead in over half a dozen plays. Professionally Brian has been on a number of American TV series; such as General Hospital, As The World Turns and evern as a recurring character on NBC's The Tonight Show. Brain also played the role of Little Yu in 2005's Saving Face, an offcial Sundance Selection.
Starting March 12th, Shanghai Rush will travel through 11 districts in Shanghai for footages including Pudong, Huangpu, Luwan,Yangpu, Minhang and Jiading district. Each episode will feature Shanghai's Unique scenes and customs, incorporating participants' fierce competition and adventures.
Shanghai Rush will meet the audience on May 3rd, the one-year countdown of 2010 Shanghai World Expo. It will air for 12 weeks every Sunday on prime time from 8:00pm-9:00pm on ICS.
