Black clouds threatened rain as contestants arrived at Jiangwan Stadium, where they would find the clue to the next stop. Now the spacious 70-year-old stadium was in view but where were the clues? Those who found the clue would have to go to Fuxing Island, Shanghai’s only urban island.

Later, a fastidious woman was waiting at City 8 where contestants were to complete a task under her guidance, and win the clue to the next stop, Wujiaochang. What was it that moved a sportive and sociable couple to tears and challenged a Chinese girl’s ideas of traditional culture? What exactly was the test about?

After a long time, contestants finally reached bustling Wujiaochang, searching around in the crowds. This time, clues would take them to the major destination of this episode - the Yangshupu Water Plant, China’s first and largest. In this Neo-Gothic building, contestants were to deal with those buddies in workers’uniforms. The aim was to obtain a certain article from them so they could open boxes suspended in the air.
