Cherry blossoms 樱花

Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival is held from Mar. 18 through Apr. 15, 2015 at the city's eight parks.

今年上海樱花节于3月18日至4月15日举行，由顾村公园，世纪公园、华夏公园、闵行体育公园、鲁迅公园、杨浦公园、共青森林公园和海湾国家森林公园共同举办。

Gucun Park 顾村公园

As the city's traditional cherry-viewing park, it features 60 varieties of cherry blossoms with an area of 1000 acres.

作为沪上传统的赏樱公园，顾村公园内樱花种植面积1000余亩，品种60余种，数量在1.2万余株，樱花面积是上海之最。特色品种主要有粉红色的河津樱，红色的寒绯樱、红笠、花笠，黄绿色的郁金樱、御衣黄，淡红的米国、松月、天川、兰兰，白色的骏河台、染井吉野、大岛樱花等等。

Century Park 世纪公园

The Cherry Blossom Island is located at the center of the park. 90% of the varieties are Chinese early cherries.

世纪公园樱花岛地处公园中央的半岛区域，1000多株樱花沿着半岛中心的小路栽种，种植的品种90%是先花后叶的早樱品种，从浙江奉化溪口一带的农民自家山坡逐一收集而至，属于中国本地樱花。

Luxun Park 鲁迅公园

It boasts 600 cherry trees in 15 varieties and most of them were donated by Japanese friends and associations of Chinese students in Japan. Zomerai Yoshinosakura is the leading variety.

鲁迅公园内有15个品种，600余株的樱花。其中大部分是日本友人、留日同学会等捐赠。公园内以观赏价值较高的染井吉野樱为主。
