Xie Weihe: We Support the Development of the BRICS Economic Think Tank
Beijing- How to better coordinate the five BRICS countries full of various differences, and make them play a role as a whole is a big issue concerning the recovery and continuous growth of the world economy, said Xie Weihe, vice president of Tshinghua University at the BRICS Economic Think Tank Forum on Nov. 6.
The frequent use of the concept “BRICS” shows growing influence of the five countries- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa in the current world economy. Xie Weihe noted that this forum, held by Center for China in the World Economy, Tshinghua University, was looking into the future of BRICS countries, which is supported by the school.
