Senior citizens in Changning district are enjoying a price cut in edible oil due to an offer made by a local enterprise to the Shanghai Charity Fund Changning branch. Shanghai Kunfu Group donated 200,000 yuan (US$25,545) of edible oil and fragrant sesame oil for residents over 90. They also offered extra pension money for those over 100. Over the past month, the price of edible oil has increased more than 20 percent locally.
