More than 30 poor families in Xinhua Community, Changning District,
received subsidies from the government to cover electricity costs. It is said
that more than 100 families in the community will benefit from such subsidies
this summer. The community has also sent electric fans and other facilities to
help the poor get some relieve from the summer heat.
