A new road in Pudong that will connect the district to Chongming Island will be completed next month, city planners announced, Shanghai Daily reported.

The seven-kilometer Wujiang Avenue will link the to-be-completed Xiangyin Road across the Huangpu River and the tunnel and bridge connection to Chongming Island.
