This year's Shanghai Orange Festival kicked off on Wednesday at the Chongming county's Qianwei Orange Farm on Changxing Island. During the festival, tourists are free to pick tangerines themselves. In addition, a troupe from Inner Mongolia will give performances, a display of ethnic clothing and host a traditional pasture barbecue. The festival ends on November 26.
