The Chongming county's 2006 Autumn Hairy Crab Festival opened in Dongping National Forest Park on Wednesday. During the festival which runs until November 28, visitors can not only taste delicious hairy crabs, but also view a magic drum more than 150 years old that was discovered in Yunnan Province. It is said that this drum was once used in Buddhist services thousands of years ago.
