The district's education budget reached 334 million yuan (US$40.24 million) this year, accounting for one quarter of the annual budget. The district purchased computers for each primary, secondary and high school. It also sent 30 teachers for training abroad. Preferential policies were enacted to attract famous teachers and university graduates.
