In the frist nine months, Chongming County's industrial output reached 6.64 billion yuan , up 23.4 percent year-on-year.  The sales revenue has reached 6.54 billion yuan , up 21.5 percent from a year earlier.  So far this year, industrial enterprises on the island have created 3,600 jobs.
