A growing number of senior citizens in the city are moving to Chongming Island. With its fresh air and plentiful land for gardening, the county will be an ideal place for seniors to reside. Recently, 10 elderly people moved from the city's downtown to the county, which is able to provide housekeepers and qualified rooms for them.
