To connect Waigang Town, the district's west part, with Jiading Automobile City, Jiading District extended the town's Moyu Road N. to Waiqingsong Road, a main traffic artery connecting Jiading with Qingpu and Minhang districts. The 6,200-meter-long road is expected to cost the district 260 million yuan (US$31.33 million) and be completed at the end of this year.
