Malu Town in Jiading District is most famous for its juicy grapes. According to the town, the first grape theme park in Shanghai will be built there and be open to the public from July next year. Covering 30 hectares with an investment of 30 million yuan (US$3.61 million), the park will be divided into six parts, where visitors can have a view of how grapes grow and mature, and how wine is made.
