Jiading district's fire brigade recently held a high-rise apartment building fire drill on Moyu Road in Anting Town. More than 100 residents and firefighters participated. With the development of Shanghai's automobile city in the district, the fire brigade hoped to prevent future disasters as more skyscrapers are constructed. The exercise also aimed to raise residents' awareness of fire safety.
