Flextronics, the world's largest electronics manufacturing services provider, yesterday unveiled its first Industrial Park in East China. Located in Jiading District, Shanghai, the new facility functions as a complete manufacturing center, incorporating design, plastics molding and metal fabrication services for information technology and automotive enterprises. The company said it will take advantage of Jiading's booming automobile industry and begin to produce automotive electronic components in the center by March.
