Pet owner to pay

Under mediation by the Jing'an District People's Court, a resident
surnamed Zhou reached an agreement with an elderly woman surnamed Zheng to pay
her 11,700 yuan (US$1,410) after his dog terrified her. On the night of April
28, when Zheng was taking a walk with her daughter in the residential area, a
tall pet dog sprang on them suddenly. The terrified woman fell to the ground and
broke her wrist.
